So far, the number has reached to 75 percent. The issue emerged during a seminar organized on Maternal and Child Health Day by Rotary Club of Udaipur. Paediatrician Dr DevendraSarin said that instead of DPT, a vaccine called Pentavalent Vaccine

have been made available. Chicken pox vaccine, if given once, the disease doesn’t make a comeback for 80-90 percent of the times. Course of rabies vaccine should be given once in a lifetime. If one once gets rabies, then the prevention is impossible. The vaccine is now available in the market, called Indradhanush, which will prevent 7 diseases.
