Bhilwara: Sangam University in Bhilwara commenced its annual cultural, sports, and technical extravaganza, "La Union 2024," with a colorful start. The inaugural ceremony of this two-day event welcomed esteemed guests, including Professor Dr. Anand Sharma from the Department of Management at the Central University of Haryana, and special guest Principal Monamoyri Mukherjee from Arihant International School in Bhilwara. Professor Anand Sharma conveyed congratulations to Sangam University for the impressive start of La Union 2024. Dr. Karunesh Saxena, the Vice Chancellor of Sangam University, motivated all participants to strive for excellence and highlighted the importance of sportsmanship. Dr. Shweta Bohra, the organizing secretary of La Union, revealed that more than 300 students took part in the diverse array of events over the two days. Activities included relay races, shot put, long jump, volleyball, business brawl, IPL auction, street plays, tech scribble, chess, stand-up comedy, dress-out-of-waste, basketball, box cricket, street dance, and park pictorial net arena. The inauguration witnessed lively presentations by Sangam University students, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of La Union. The organizing core team included convenor Prof. Vineesh Agrawal, co-convenor Dr. Anurag Sharma, and members of the Student Core Committee such as Harsh Soman, Aryan Sethia, Srishti Raj, Preetam, Sejal Sancheti, Suraj, Deepak Bhatt, Vishwajeet, Kashi, Nirvita, Khushi, and Abhinav Jain, among others. Faculty members including Professor Manas Ranjan Panigrahi,RegistrarProfessorRajeevMehta,andCEOSatish Yadav from Sangam University were also present at the inauguration of La Union.
