Udaipur: "Due to international pressures regarding environmental protection and climate change, strict action is being taken by the government to ban industrial units for producing pollution free. The National Green Tribunal has been set up by the government for the same purpose. "The above information is from Dr. B. Sengupta in the UCCI. Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a one-day workshop on "Harmful Waste Management" at the PyroTechTempsons Auditorium of Chamber Building under the auspices of Udaipur Industrial West Management and Research Center. Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board, Udaipur Regional Officer, Shri B.R. Panwar was the chief guest in the program. Under the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, New Delhi in the workshop, Dr. B, Sengupta former Member Secretary, Central Pollution Control Board. Sengupta was a subject expert.
At the beginning of the program, Chairman, Mr.HansrajChaudhary welcomed the Chief Guest, subject experts, and participants said that the economic progress of the country is possible only with the growth of the industry. There is some pollution with industrial production, but it can be reduced by adopting pollution control measures. It is possible for any industry to move ahead with the attention of the interests of the surrounding local people. ShriChoudhary assured the organizing of more workshops in the future by the UCC on pollution control and environmental protection.The chief guest of the program, Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board, Regional Officer of Udaipur Dr. BR Panwar In his address, appealed to the participants that not only for the purpose of compliance with the harmful waste rules but also for the protection of the environment for its own and future generations. Due to the increase in temperature of the earth due to greenhouse gases and climate change due to greenhouse gases, Dr.Panwar explained the danger of pandemic and organism. Dr.Panwar emphasized promoting plantation to increase pollution in nature and the environment.
Member Secretary of Udaipur Industrial West Management and Research Center and Honorary Member of UCC Shri CSR. Mehta presented the introductory subject and presented the program outline. The workshop was conducted by Vice President Dr.Anshu Kothari.
During the workshop, Dr. B. Sengupta gave detailed information about the legal and technological aspects regarding the management of harmful waste through the PowerPoint Presentation. During the Question Hour, subject matter of doubt and inquisitiveness of participants was Solved by Dr. B. Sengupta. More than 85 participants of the industrial units were present. Which were manufacturing harmful waste from different districts of the state participated in the workshop,
