Addressingtheparticipants, formerUnionMinisterDr.Girija Vyas said that talking about Gandhiji is likeshowingalamp tothesun. sheappreciatedthe efforts of the Directorate of Peace and Non-Violence for this event and said that the Directorate is making practical efforts in realizing the mission of Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot. She said that we have always adopted Gandhiji's ideas and moved forward and will follow Gandhiji's ideals andgivethemessageofbrotherhood in the future. MLA Smt. Shaktawat said that there is a need to imbibe the ideas and ideals of Mahatma Gandhi in the present times. We must create a positive environment while walkingonthepathofnon-violence, and such events will prove fruitful. Former MP Raghuveer Singh Meena said Mahatma Gandhi was a role model for the world. The contribution he has made before and after independence cannot be forgotten. We have to move forward following his ideas. He said that through such events, today's generation needs to work in the nation's interest by adopting Mahatma Gandhi'sprinciples. At the beginning of the program, District Collector Tarachand, while welcoming all the guestsanddivisional, said that Udaipur had the host of this event from the Directorate of Non-violence, which is a matter of pride for Udaipur. He said that the purpose of this type of event is to acquaint today's young generation with the ideals of Gandhiji and to inspire them to follow the path shown by Gandhiji. The same collector saidthatintoday'sera,thegovernmentofficialsandcommon people would also have to follow the path of non-violence andbringGandhiji's ideals into life by bringing changes in their behavior. Representative of the Directorate of Non-violence and Gandhian thinker Manish Sharmahighlightedtheobjectives of this event. They said that according to the intention of Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot,thesecampsarebeing organizedtocreateaGandhian environment in the state. In these camps, Gandhian thinkers and trainers from different regions of the country will get the participants interviewed with Gandhi Darshan. While welcoming all the participants and trainers, Pankaj Kumar Sharma, the convener of the District Level Gandhi Darshan Samiti, thanked the Chief Minister for organizingthiseventinUdaipur and said that this event must prove successful to take the ideals and principles of MahatmaGandhitoevery section. And from here, positive results will come. Manoj Thackeray, Satish Rai,SandeepDiwakar,Amjad Khan, Vijender Singh, and Sunil Sharma addressed the participants among the prominent instructors of the program.
