In Udaipur, the UGC Women's Studies Center at Mohanlal Sukhadia University organized a workshop on the Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal of Sexual Harassment at the Workplace Act, 2013, as part of International Women's Day celebrations. Prof. Sunita Mishra, the Vice-Chancellor, emphasized creating safe work environments for women and familiarized attendees with the relevant legislation. Additional District Judge Praveen Kumar, Prof. Sudha Choudhary, and Prof. Hemant Dwivedi discussed women's empowerment efforts. Dr. Garima Mishra, the event organizer, outlined the workshop's objectives, which included discussions on workplace harassment rules. Officials from Jatan Institute, including Dr. Kailash Brijwasi and Surbhi Yadav, participated, offering suggestions for enhancing workplace safety. Over 80 participants engaged in activities managed by research scholars Tanvi and Swati. The Mandala Utsav, a week-long celebration, featured various events promoting women's empowerment, including workshops, competitions, health camps, and street plays. Dr. Garima Mishra expressed gratitude to participants, and the event concluded with the Mandala group's presentation of the play "Soch."
