National Agricultural Education Day organized at CDFT

The birth anniversary of Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India, is celebrated as the National Agricultural Education Day by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi. The day was organized. 
On this occasion, the Dean, Dr. Lokesh Gupta, discussed many aspects of agriculture in detail. Along with this, he addressed the understanding and negligence of the general public on the minimum support price in many ways. Dr. Nikita Wadhawan, Head of the Department of Milk and Food Technology, said that on this occasion, about 220 students studying in Class XI and XII of Saraswati Higher Secondary School and The Standard Higher Secondary School visited the college and knew where about in Milk Technology and Food Technology. In this debate competition, 15 students participated with great enthusiasm and openly discussed the possible changes in the minimum support price. In this debate, the students sometimes encouraged the participants and used sarcasm.
 On this occasion, a skit, "Agriculture in Education and Agriculture in Reality," was also organized in which 20 students displayed their skills. In these short plays, the students dramatized many untouched aspects of the farmer's life and tried to explain agriculture's nuances.
The annual scholarship started by the college's alumni council in memory of the late Dr. Raje Singh Rawat, the college's first dean, was also awarded to Mr. Devendra Singh Rana, Mr. Arpit Nagar, and Mr. Sandeep Mehta on the same occasion. 
It is worth mentioning that the lump sum amount has been made as a fixed deposit by the family members of Dr. Rawat and by the Alumni Council of the college. Every year, its interest is given as an annual scholarship to needy and talented students.
