"Ram Usee Ne Paya" enthralled audience Udaipur: Jointly organized by West Zone Cultural Centre and Martand Foundation, Udaipur, a devotional music concert "Ram use ne paya" was a great feast for Devotional Music lovers of Udaipur. This ninety minute
concert had many surprises as it was the first concert of its type. The lyricist Late Dr. L.J. Harshe (Saagar) contributed comprehensive poetry narrating most important moments of Lord Ram highlighting his
divine character. Sanjay Taranekar and Shubhada Marathe of "Chainaya Sanskrutik Sanstha" not only
composed most appropriate music but also shared responsibility of main singers keeping entire performance spellbound. Different episodes composed on various Ragas of Hindustani classical music had
varied emotional tones of happiness,sorrow,heroic acts, beauty, agony and surprise etc
Their melodious voice enhanced power of each song they rendered. This was the first time where active audience participation was visible. The other contributors to this very special concert were Vikas Subhedar,Avani Joshi, Dr. Ish Taranekar,Rekha Mule, Vijay Supekar and Mansi Taranekar. They were accompanied by RiteshGhayal on Tabla, Bhupesh Ameta on Octopad, Bheru Rao on Key- Board and Ravindra Marathe on Computer visuals.
Chaya Taranekar did excellent work of narrator. Her mesmerizing voice provided pace to the presentation.Chief Guest Thakur Bhupendra Singh Auwa and Mrs. Auwa honored artistes along with representative of WZCC Shri C.P Singh and Martand Foundation Shri. Dharmesh Sharma. Convener of divine performance, Vilas Janve informed that the audience was overwhelmed with quality of the show. Many spectators demanded repeat show.
