Closing Award Ceremony of JIFF 2020

Jaipur. This evening was absolutely special, as it was the Closing Ceremony of JIFF 2020. Here, selected films from films from parts of the world were imparted with numerous awards.



Closing Ceremony will took place at 5 p.m. in INOX  - Audi 1



 JIFF Chairman Rajeev Arora thanked the guests present in the ceremony. He also announced that Jaipur International Film Festival will be held on the third Friday of January every year and next year too.



The award for Best Short Documentary Film was given to Aniket P. Deore's film Trikon. Best Short Documentary - Special Jury Mention Award was given to Saurav Vishnu's film Tailing Pond. The Best Short Film Award was presented to Sweden's Jonatan and Robert Mallow's The Stick. The Best Director Award was given to Julie Perrard's film On the Bare Earth from France. The Best Editor Award was given to Flynnvon Kleist's film Crow’s Nest from the Netherlands. The Best Cinematographer Award was given to Keith Gomes' film Doobie. Best Sound Editor Award UK Jaroslaw Gogolin's film Once Upon a Time on All Hallows Eve.



The Best Actor Award for Leading Role was given to Sweden's Jonasan Etzler and Robert Melo for The Stick. Best War and Peace Film Award U.S. Lara Lee's film Wantoks - Dance of Resilience in Malenesia. Special Jury Mention Award in International Competition was given to Meera Zaveri's film Miss You Dad. In the Coming Stars Panorama category, the Best Upcoming Film Award went to Nicolas Ehret of Germany for the film Bike of a Boy. In the same category, the Special Jury Mention Award went to Singapore's film Bodhi.



Many Awards to Rajasthan



For the special Rajasthan, the Best Film of Rajasthan Award in the U-Turn Rajasthan Panorama category was given to Mohit Sharma and Raghav Rawat's film Panchi. The Special Jury Mention Award for Rajasthan Award went to Rajesh Seth's film Waiting Till Today. Special Jury Mention for Song Award was given to Raat / Khaas directed by Chinmay Goswami. The Special Jury Mention for Song Award was gone to Kareeb directed by Dr. Hema Udawat.



Among the Animation Films, the Best Animation Film Award went to Daria Kashcheeva's Daughter of the Czech Republic. The Special Jury Mention Award was given to Aspera Ad Astra on the film by France's Franck Dion.



Many Awards to Opening and Closing Film of the Festival



In Best Feature Documentary Award, Best Sound and Editing Award, Best Cinematography Award and Red Rose Award were given to Arthur Balder of the United States for the film American Mirror: Intimations of Immortality.



In the feature films category, the Golden Camel Award [Best Director] was awarded to Phoenix's Dong, director of Sun Rises from the East Pole. The Yellow Rose Award [upcoming film with word premiere] was named in Maria Alexa's film Faust a Return from the Future.



Many Awards in the category of Feature Films



The Green Rose Award [The film, which gives global message] was named after Vikrant More's film Montu Ki Paltan. The Best Debutant Director Award was given to Mani Shankar Iyer, director of the Indian film Sattham. The Best Original Screenplay Award was given to Marina Libik's film No Man's Truth. The Best Sound and Editing Film Award went to China's Cheng Li film Jose. The best cinematography award was named New Zealand's Blue Moon. The Best Music Award was given to the Film The Grizzlies of Miranda de Pencier of Canada. The Best Production Design Award was given to Abhinandan Dutta's film The Inside Out of India. The Best Visual Effects Award was given to Hong Kong's Ronnie Chow's film Missing. The Best Film from Sridevi JIFF Indian Panorama Award went to Mani Shankar Iyer's film Sattham.



Film Mosaic Portrait wins several awards



The Best Women Film Award was given to Mosaic Portrait, directed by Zai Yixiang of China. The Red Rose Award [Best Released Film] was the name of this film in China. Best actress award was given to the film's actress.



Rajasthani Film Chidi Balla wins many awards



The Special Jury Mention Award was given to Chidi Balla directed by Radheshyam PipalwaThe Best Women Film Award was also named for this film. At the same time, Best Jaipur Critics Film Award was also named for this film. In the feature film category, this film also won the Welcome Regard Award.Best Political Film Award was given to USA’s Irene Zoe Alameda’s film Alex’s Strip. The Best Romantic Film Award went to China's film JoseJose also won the Title of Best Film from Asian Continent Award. The Best Film from European Continent Award was given to the film Lebending- Alive, directed by Michael Seibert from Germany. The Best Film Award from American Continent was given to Irene Joi Alameda, director of the USA film Alex’s Strip.In Documentary Feature Film categoryGolden Camel Award was given to India's director Kshitij Sharma for Savoy: Saga of an Icon.  The Green Rose Award was given to Christopher McDonnell of Canada for Queen of the Beach. The Best Screenplay Award was given for Heinrich Dahms film My Soul Drifts Light from Japan and the Netherlands.The Special Jury Mention Award was given to Charles Vijay Kumar of the United States for Who Is My Neighbour? The Best Debutant Director Award was given to Mark Bochsler of Canada for directing Surviving Bokator.Under International Screenplay Competition category, The First Top Screenplay Award was given to Eddie the King, directed by Philip Bryan Lombardi of the United States.In Web Series, The Best Web Series Award was given to Justin Edelman of the United States for the Shebbie’s Live Life Series. The Special Jury Mention Web Series Award was given to Stewart Marshall and Josh Masson of Australia for the film Iron City: 1978.



In Mobile Film Category, The Best Mobile Film Award was given to Andréas van de Laar of India for One Point Seven: The Reluctant Urbaniser. The Special Jury Mention Mobile Film Award was given to the film Knots of Compassion by Gnanendra Shamaiah of India.In category of Songs, The Best Song Award was given for the song Italy and Water by Loan Gavriel from Austria. The Best Music Video Award was given to Tom CJ Brown from the United States for Cousin John - The Arrival.In Ad films Category, The Best Ad Film Award was given to Ankit Pushkarana of India for Deepanshi - A Ray of Light.



The Top Movies in the Desktop Category were - Canada's Crossing the River of Life, Canada's Gone Are the Days, Japan's Miracle of Christmas, India's S - HeScreenplay of an Indian Love Story, The TravelerAnd Skua Retained EarlyKarkash, Some Clean Air, DesiBandsThe 14th February and Beyond, Ellipsis, Owe, Fraction of an Ounce and Notary.
