Dilated cardiomyopathy patients treated sucessfully

Udaipur: At the Pacific Medical College and Hospital, Bedla, successful operation of 21 mm stones was done in the gall bladder of a patient suffering from the problem of Dilated cardiomyopathy. The operation was carried out by the team of gastro surgeon Dr. Vikesh Joshi, cardiac anesthetic Dr. Samir Goyal, Dr. Anil Ratnavat, Brijesh Bhardwaj and Deepak. 49-year-oldVajayramUpadhyay,aresident of Indoda village of Aspur in Dagarpur, had been suffering from stomach pain for the past several months. The family showed Vajayram toDr.Viresh Joshi, a gastro surgeon, and after examining the patient, it was found that the stones were found in the patient's gall bladder, which was possible by the operation. Dr Vesha Joshi, a surgeon, said that the operationofVajaramwascomplicatedbecause the patient's heart was working only 30%, so the patient's life could also, be lost during the operation. Cardiac anesthetic Dr. Samir Goyal said that gall bladder operation is normal but Vajayram had a problem with Dilated cardiomyopathy due to which the operation was risky. The patient is still healthy and is discharged.
