With great enthusiasm wa s c e l e b r a te d Re p u b l i c Da y b y Udaipurities.Inthemain celebration at the divisional headquarterinUdaipur,theNationalFlagwashoiste d b y Ch i e f Gu e s t Di v i s i o n a l CommissionerVikasS.Bhale at Gandhi Ground. After the singing of National Anthem, the Chief Guest inspected the parade Police, NCC, Scout Guide, and Police Band took part in the marchpast. Themessagefromthegovernorwasread out by ADM Admin. O. P. Bunker. The hugegatheringincludedMayorG.S.Tak, DIG Vinita Thakur, District Collector Anandi, and ADM city Sanjai Kumar Bishnoi. Also present were senior officers,socialworkers,students,andteachers. Those honored by Divisional Commissioner and District Collector included freedom fighter Lalit Mohan Sharma, martyr constable CRPF Ratan Lal Meena wife Pushpa Meena, Lt. AbhinavNagori’smotherSushilaNagori, Lt. Freedom fighter Mohan Lal Tezwat’s wife Shankar Devi, Lt. Freedom Fighter Kanhiya Lal’s wife Chand Kunwar, and relationoflatefreedomfighterParmanand Chhabria.Alsohonoredwere85persons for their commendable services in various fields. Highly appreciated were the physicalexercisesanddaringdeedspresented by Deaf and Dumb school students. So also physical exercises on the patriotic song by students of other schools. A song-danceitemdepictingtherichdiversity in Indian culture by students of St. Anthony School got a big applaud from the audience. The National Flag was hoisted by Divisional Commissioner, District Collector and Dy. Director, Public Relations, Kamlesh Sharma in their offices. The tri-color flag was also hoisted by Mukul Agrawal, Head Indirect Taxation, HindustanZinc,MayorG.S.Tak,MPArjun Lal Meena, VC MPUAT Prof. N.S. Rathore, Dean Prof, B.R. Bamniya, J.P. Agrawal, VC Pacific Medical College, Avanti Lal Hadpawat, President, Hadpawat Charitable Trust at different places.Lake City Press Club celebrated thefestival inabigwayatAshokaPalace were eminent journalists like Subhash Shamra,VishalAgarwal,GirishSharma, ChandanSinghDewara,Pavan Khabya, Shankar Sargora, Kamlesh Jadola, and JaiShriNagdawerehonoredTaraChand Gawaria and Madhuri Kalal were given specialawards.Our3500IndianandforeigntouristsvisitedPratapGouravKendra to witness and listen to the valor of Rana Pratap. They had the “darshan” of various gods, the goddess in Bhaktidham. The Second edition of MSquare Publication’s 100 Change Makers that showcases theachievementsofpersons who have contributed to the society in different ways, was released by Pankaj Sharma, Ravinder Shrimali and Ajat Shatru. President Ramesh Kumar Singhvi hoisted a 115 feet high National Flag at UCCI Environment Park. -
