Udaipur. In a bike-car accident, a woman's ax ball and socket were crushed. The broken joint was arranged at GBH General Hospital located in Bedwas, after six hours of operation of the injured lady.

Group director Dr. Anand Jha said that a 47-year-old woman resident of Chittorgarh was injured in a bike-car accident three days ago. This woman had a bruise on her chest, Fractures of the Hip and Pelvis (acetabulum and neck of femur fracture). On this, her family took her to government and non-government hospitals, but due to the complexity of the woman she is being put on a ventilator due to chest injury, she was not getting treatment anywhere. The family brought him to the GBH General Hospital in Bedwas, where the Troma team started treatment with the help of the ICU team. Here, after investigations, orthopedic surgeon Dr. Suryakant Purohit found that the ball of the woman's ax and the hip pocket connected it was completely damaged. Considering the seriousness of the injury and the danger to the life of the woman here, following the protocol rules and precautions of the corona epidemic, the woman decided to have an operation on the ventilator. Anesthesia also contributed significantly due to this woman's chest injury. Anesthetist Dr. Piyush Garg used anesthesia medicine accordingly. In operation, which lasted for about six hours, the pair, ball, and socket of the woman's ax were newly made. It was also challenging in this operation because there was a risk of the woman's legs being cut or paralyzed. Saving the woman, a safe operation was carried out, and she was shifted from the ventilator to the general ward on Saturday, keeping her in the ICU for two days.
