Evelyn Sharma's special gift to herself

Bollywood Actress Evelyn Sharma is most known for her comic roles in films like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Main Tera Hero. Her super hit song Sunny Sunny from the movie Yaariyan catapulted her to being a favourite performer at weddings and functions all over India, and her latest stint in blockbuster Saaho added the second highest opener ever in Hindi cinema to her kitty. What to do with all the fame and money? Last year, Evelyn decided to invest it into buying her own home in Mumbai. The construction has just been completed and the keys were handed over to her in a small ceremony by the builders, who of course are thrilled to add a celebrity name to their home owners!

Many actors decide to spend their fast gained wealth on luxury trips, goods, and of course cars! Meanwhile Indo-German born Evelyn Sharma grew a charity foundation called Seams For Dreams over the past five years and added a new venture WIP Creatives to her portfolio as an entrepreneur last year. The company guides young talent to enter the Bollywood and entertainment industry with the right placement and image development. Evelyn’s 10 years of experience in the industry and with a background in business management she wanted to create a company that offers what she was always missing: A sort of “godfather” in the industry to mentor you through the process.

"I have cut a lot of ribbons in my life... but none has ever been as special as the one to my own home! I’m so grateful that my magical Bollywood journey has enabled me to start my own businesses and now to fulfill this life long dream of buying my own home, a beautiful flat in Mumbai!” says the starlet who is most excited to give the flat an eco-friendly touch now with the interior design, and of course to welcome her fiancé Dr Tushaan Bhindi to the newly acquired property! “He is so proud of me for achieving this big milestone in my life. He is so supportive in everything I do, and I can’t wait to marry him!! Wedding plans are next!” she smiles, and we all can’t wait to see what she will choose: The white gown or the red Indian lehenga!
