Udaipur(Dr.MuneshArora): The second National Cultural Competition of Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) has begun in Udaipur it is being organized by Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India onThursday in Vivekananda Auditorium of Mohan Lal Sukhadia University. SaurabhJain, JointSecretary, Tribal Affairs Department of the Government of India, the chief guest of the ceremony, said that the talent of EMRS is putting their excellence in every field today. The students here are doing their best in academic activities as well as other co-educational activitiesincludingsports,arts,and culture. He congratulated the talent from various states of the country during this event at Lakecity and encouraged them to perform best in every field. Jain said that thestudentsofModelSchoolhave showngoodacademicskills.Many students are winners of national competitions. Hesaidthateffectiveeffortsare being made for quality education to reach every tribal area of the country.Alongwiththis715model residential schools are being upgraded,willexpandfacilities for students. At the same time provisionisbeingmadeforEklavyaDay Boarding School so that students can get a better academic environment. In the program, department directorAnilKumarwishedtheparticipantsfrom18statesofthecountryparticipatinginthisnational level competition. He said that by organizing such a program, the culture of different states meets and is reflected.Tribal Department Co m m i s s i o n e r Sh i v a n g i Swarnakar thanked the Tribal Ministry for welcoming the guests andhostingUdaipurforthisnational-level competition. she said that state-of-the-art facilities are being provided in the model school run by the departmentwithinnovationsandthishas boosted the level of students studying here. Thechiefguestoftheprogram, Kamar Chaudhary, Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad congratulated the department for this largescale event and said that the administration would extend all possible support. Anjali Rajoria and RamjeevanMeenaalongwith Sudhir Dave, TAD Project OfficerGiteshreeMalviyaand DepartmentalOfficer-Staffof TribalRegionalDevelopment Department was present. Participants from 18 states of the country are participating in this national level competition. Amongthem,participants from Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Mizoram, Orissa, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhandareexhibitingtheirart. After the inauguration of the programandaddressoftheguests, all the participants took photographs with the guests. During this time all the participants were in their traditional costumes. Ontheinauguration,theartists of the famous folk art division of Udaipur and the Cultural Center of the Western Region mesmerized everyone with their attractive performances. Dangsandbhavaidanceswere performed by the artists on this occasion. A group dance competition was held after lunch.
