Udaipur | The art festival 2023, organized between May 22 and 24 under the joint aegis of Manikyalal Verma Tribal Research and Training Institute and Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal, Udaipur, concluded grandly.
In the Kala Mahotsav 2023, the competition of children living in tribal ashrams of Rajasthan was organized at the district level in the first phase. 350 children from all over the State selected in the said competition reached Udaipur on May 21 to participate in the art festival. State-level competition of these children was organized on May 22, 2023, in a group dance, solo dance, group singing, solo singing, painting competition and crafts. The painting and craft exhibition of the children awarded in the competition was organized on the premises of the Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal, and the presentation-oriented arts were displayed in front of the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Mr Ashok Gehlot and other guests on the inauguration of 22nd. It is to be noted that the Kala Mahotsav 2023 was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Ashok Gehlot, under the chairmanship of Shri Arjun Singh Bamnia, Minister of State, Tribal Regional Development Department (Independent Charge), Public Health Engineering Department, Ground Water Department. At least 15 ministers and MLAs of the Rajasthan government were present as guests at the function.
On the second day of the ceremony, i.e. May 23, all the participants, i.e. 350 students enthralled the audience through their presentations; then, on the exact closing occasion, on May 24, Wardens of Tribal Hostels, officers/employees of the Tribal Development Department, Tribal Regional Development Department, Officers/employees of Udaipur, artists of Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal and The Performers Cultural Society, Udaipur gave presentations. Artists, participants, and spectators enthusiastically participated in the said ceremony. On the occasion of the inauguration ceremony, the Chief Minister announced organizing the said ceremony every year and also said that this ceremony would be included in the tourism calendar of Rajasthan. It will be put up so that tourists from all over the country and abroad can enjoy this fantastic event.
