Add deprived families to Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme

 Udaipur  (Dr.Munesh Arora )The monthly meeting of the District Health Committee was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of District Collector Tarachand Meena. The Collector gave instructions for speeding up the state government's flagship schemes and their practical implementation in rural areas.
He mainly directed to connect the deprived families with the Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme soon. He said that by conducting door-to-door surveys, it should be ensured that the scheme's benefit is given to the deprived families.
Expressing dissatisfaction over the district's ranking far behind in the free medicine scheme and free investigation scheme in departmental activities, the Collector gave instructions for immediate improvement. District Reproductive and Child Health Officer Dr Ashok Aditya said that children deprived of vaccination would be detected and vaccinated. On the other hand, instructions were given to issue notices to the institutions on which work was not being done.

Nodal Officer for Non-Communicable Diseases Dr Pranav Bhavsar said a 100-day fit health campaign would be run in the district, where the BP of all patients above 30 years will be taken. And NCD by getting a sugar-related investigation done. Uploading of data has been made mandatory, which is being implemented by all institutions.
Discussion on control and prevention of seasonal diseases
Here, for the control and prevention of seasonal diseases, the inter-departmental coordinator meeting was held under the chairmanship of Additional District Collector O.P.Bunkar. The ADM instructed that in the coming 3 months, according to the weather, work will be done to prevent diseases and instructed all departments to carry out anti-larval and adult activities to prevent mosquitoes from breeding for the prevention of diseases like dengue, malaria, chikungunya etc. For this, instructions were given to observe dry days every Sunday.
start of no tobacco week
Action will be taken according to the rules and various awareness activities in the Tobacco Prohibition Week organized on May 31. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr Bamania said the prohibition of tobacco week started in the district-level coordination committee meeting. Various DLCC members were briefed about tobacco control activities and issued guidelines. In coordination with all the departments, instructions were given to issue challans and raise awareness for tobacco control in their respective departments. Dr Pranav Bhavsar talked about the disadvantages of tobacco.
