Minister Shakuntla Rawat Chairs One Stop Shop Review Meeting
Jaipur : Industries & Commerce Minister, Government of Rajasthan, Smt. Shakuntla Rawat chaired the One-Stop Shop Monthly Review Meeting today at Udyog Bhawan to discuss pending investment proposals, industries concerns and various issues in the State. The meeting was co-chaired Shri Rajeev Arora, Chairman of RAJSICO & REPC. Also present on the occasion were Mr. Om Kasera, Commissioner of BIP; Mr. Shiv Prasad Nakate, MD of RIICO; Mr. Shakti Singh Rathore, MD of RFC; Dr. Manju, Additional Commissioner of BIP, and nodal officers from 14 government departments.
During the meeting, Industries Minister discussed a total of 17 pending investment proposals, including timeout and investment proposal cases pending with various departments. These proposals were pending at various levels in the Tourism, Local Self Governance, Revenue, Urban Development & Housing, RIICO, RFC, Energy, and Industries Department. Few investors were also present during the meeting representing their issues and for a discussion with the concerned department in detail. Some of the issues were resolved by the Industries Minister on the spot.
Industries Minister emphasized the government's commitment for creating a business-friendly environment in Rajasthan and assured industry stakeholders of the government's support in resolving their concerns. The one-stop shop meeting is a step towards streamlining the industry's processes and ensuring the ease of doing business in the state.
Mr. Rajiv Arora, Chairman, RAJSICO & REPC said "We had a productive meeting with the department officials, where we discussed various concerns and issues faced by upcoming and existing industries in Rajasthan. We are committed to resolving these issues in a timely manner and ensuring a business-friendly environment for investors and entrepreneurs. I urge all concerned departments to work in the coordinated manner and prioritize resolving pending issues within the given time frame."
During the meeting Industries Minister also met with representatives from various industrial associations and organizations to resolve their concerns. The one-stop shop meeting provided a platform for industry stakeholders to raise their concerns and get solutions in a timely and effective manner.
It is to be recalled that at the One Stop Shop facility, nodal officers from the Department of Industries, RIICO Ltd, Energy, Labour, Urban Development, Local Self Governance, Pollution Control Board, Consumer Affairs, Tourism, Revenue, Factory and Boilers, Public Works, Public Health Engineering Development have been deputed to facilitate large investment proposals more effectively and expedite requisite approvals / clearances for the same under one roof.
