Successful surgery for sporadic granulosa cell tumor

Udaipur: The granulosa cell tumor of a 39-year-old youth was successfully operated on at Pacific Medical College and Hospital.
 This procedure was carried out by the team of senior surgeons Dr. KC Vyas, Dr. Gaurav Wadhawan, Dr. Dhaval Sharma, Dr. Vikram Rathod, Dr. Tejpal, Dr. Ripu and Bharat of the Department of Anesthesia. 
In fact, Pappulal Dan gi, a resident of Mavli, was suffering from stomach pain for the last year. Pappulal's relatives brought him to Pacific Hospital, where he was shown to Dr. K.C. Vyas, a senior surgeon in the Department of Surgery, and his team. On examination, it was found that the patient was suffering from a hernia and hydrocele, as well as a lump in the testicle. Whose treatment is possible only by operation.
Dr. Vyas said that this type of Granulosa Cell Tumor (A.G.T.) is a rare testicular cancer with very few reported cases worldwide.
General and laparoscopic surgeon Dr. Dhaval Sharma said that a patient often comes for surgery for some other disease. On examination, another diagnosis is made, so a complete patient review is necessary.
Dr. Shashi Valecha, Senior Pathologist and Head of the Department of Pathology at Pacific Hospital, examined the tumor and said it was a Granulosa Cell Tumor, a sporadic type of tumor.
This operation was done free of cost under the Chiranjeevi scheme. The patient and his relatives expressed gratitude to P.M.C.H. Chairman Rahul Agarwal, all the doctors, management, nursing personnel, and staff.
