Rajasthan tops in Universal Health Coverage – Chief Minister

Bhilwara: On Tuesday, Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot laid the foundation stone of 19 Government Nursing Colleges at the state-level program in Pali. Along with this, the foundation stone of various development works was also inaugurated. Addressing the function, Mr. Gehlot said that the state government is working with commitment to the overall development of the state. The state government is establishing new dimensions of development in various sectors including road, water, electricity, education, agriculture, medicine, and social security. In this sequence, the foundation stone of 19 Government Nursing Colleges has been laid today. After their construction, the nursing students passing out from the colleges will provide better services in the state. During this, Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot visited Bhilwara, Barmer, Banswara, Kumher (Bharatpur), Lalsot (Dausa), Dhaulpur, Dungarpur, Ha n uma n g a r h , J a l o r e , Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Nagaur, Nathdwara (Rajsamand), Pratapgarh, Sikar, Sirohi, and Tonk Nursing. The foundation stones of 19 nursing colleges were laid by worshiping the ground of virtual colleges in Pali and Chittorgarh. The foundation stone of Government Nursing College, Bhilwara, was laid in the presence of District In-charge Minister Dr. Mahesh Joshi in a program organized through a virtual medium at Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Medical College. Addressing the public meeting of the program, in-charge minister Dr. Mahesh Joshi said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the state government is making continuous efforts to strengthen health services. He said that Chief Minister Mr. Ashok Gehlot announced during the Corona period that "no one should sleep hungry" and no one should remain without treatment. Through the Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme, the state government has provided free treatment and accessible check-up facilities to all. After introducing the Chiranjeevi Yojana, the sex ratio has also improved. He said he is happy that the district in which he is the minister in charge has been considered a health model worldwide regarding health facilities in Corona.Sahada MLA Mrs. Gayatri Devi Trivedi said that Chief Minister Mr. Ashok Gehlot had announced the opening of Government Nursing Colleges in all the districts in the state budget year 2021-22. With the gift of a nursing college, medical facilities will also be expanded in various remote areas.District Collector Mr. Ashish Modi said that even in rural areas, the common people have become aware of the Chiranjeevi scheme. He said that under the Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme, the common man is getting free treatment up to 10 lakhs, and accident insurance up to 5 lakhs is also being given by the state government. He said that the medical institutions of the district have also been strengthened through the Chiranjeevi scheme. District Convener of Gandhi Darshan Samiti Mr. Akshay Tripathi said that as per the budget announcement foundation stone of the Nursing College is being laid in Bhilwara, which is a matter of pride for the district. Former MLA Mr. Vivek Dh a k a d s a i d th a t th e Chiranjeevi Yojana aims to keep people of all ages healthy. State Government has allotted 2.0234-hectare land in Village Paldi, Tehsil Mandal, free of cost for the construction of a building and hostel for boys and girls for Government Nursing College, Bhilwara. The Nursing College will be affiliated wi th the Rajasthan Nursing Council and the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences. The state government has created 16 teaching and 28 non-teaching faculty posts to successfully conduct academic activities in the college. During this, former Zila Pramukh, Mrs. Sushila Salvi, former UIT President Mr. Kailash Vyas, Mr. Anil Dangi, and other public representatives also expressed their views.During this, former MLA Mr. Hagamilal Mewada, former Chairman Municipal Council Mr. Om Naraniwal, Mrs. Manju Pokharna, Principal Mr. Satish Joshi, Mr. Chetan Didwania, District Superintendent of Police Mr. Adarsh Sidhu, Chief Executive Officer Zilla Parishad Dr. Shilpa Singh, SDM Dr. Pooja Saxena Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Mushtaq Khan, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Arun Gaur and other officers and employees of the Medical Department were present.
