Due to the first G-20 meeting in Udaipur, India's Sherpa Amitabh Kant reached Udaipur on Monday along with top officials of the Ministry of External Affairs to take stock of its arrangements and took stock of the preparations throughout the day. Appreciating the efforts of Divisional Commissioner Rajendra Bhatt and District Collector Tarachand Meena, he said that this meeting would be a successful event with coordinated efforts. Sherpa Kant said that since this is the first meeting in Udaipur under G-20, everyone will have to cooperate and make this event the best. We should make better arrangements for foreign guests' security and hospitality, organizing meetings, arranging boats, visiting tourist places, etc. He also asked for a digital presentation along with arrangements to present a glimpse of the art cul ture of Rajasthan in Shilpgram. Similarly, he immediately organized a District Magistrates' meeting with the event management companies' representatives. Divisional Commissioner Rajendra Bhatt explained the reception of guests, security, medical teams, mobile medical unit, beautification work, arrangement of guides, etc. Similarly, IG Praful Kumar talked about three-layer security, CCTV coverage, traffic plan, verification process, etc. Collector Meena informed about the movement of boats and pre-directed works, and SP Sharma told about the security arrangements. The officers visited City Palace, Fateh Prakash, Shilpgram, etc. They held discussions with the concerned officials regarding various activities and other programs during the event, along with security, hospitality, and meeting arrangements for the guests coming here. During this, Divisional Commissioner Rajendra Bhatt, District Collector Tarachand Meena, Director of Western Zone Cultural Center Kiran Soni Gupta, and Director of Tour ism Depar tment Dr. Rashmi Sharma informed about the preparations and arrangements so far. During this, other prominent officials of the administration were also present.
