World Fisheries Day celebrated

World Fisheries Day was organized on Monday at Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology's Constituent Fisheries College, Udaipur.
On this occasion, the program's special guest, Dr. BK Sharma, said that two-thirds of the world's fish are on the verge of extinction. Reasons for the decline in production, such as loss of essential fish habitats, pollution, and global warming, are some important facts about fish. Every year $22 billion is spent to subsidize overfishing which overloads ocean resources.
