Swarnim 2022 fashion show
Udaipur. Udaipur Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industries, in association with Knowledge Hub Global Pvt Ltd, organized a fashion show under Swarnim 2022 under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav for the students of Fashion Design and Technology of MLSU.
Program director Dr. Mamta Dhupia and Dr. Chitra Laddha said that 100 participants in the fashion show organized at Vivekananda Auditorium displayed their art by walking the ramp wearing their own clothes. Apart from Udaipur, students from places like Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Alwar, Dungarpur, Banswara, etc., participated in this program.
Chamber President Dr. Neeta Mehta said that the chief guests of the program were the Acting Vice Chancellor of MLSU Professor Neeraj Sharma, Mewari Bai Jigisha Joshi, Army Women Welfare Association President Nitya Iyer.
Chamber secretary Tina Soni said that the program's special guests were Dr. Shweta Sharma of Knowledge Hub Global Pvt Ltd, Shikha Singhal of Neelima Jewels, Alka Sharma of Awaar, Dr. Seema Parikh of The Deogarh Resort, Dr. Chitra Laddha of Nine Radiance Furniture
. Dr. Dolly Mogra, Head of the Fashion Department of MLSU, said that the children displayed all the art learned under the fashion course through clothes. Mainly handmade indigo block printing, patchwork, etc., garments are produced. There were six judges and 16 jury members in the jury of the program, according to whose decision Miss Swarnim, Mr. Swarnim, and eight other titles were also given.
Lakshita Sharma of MLSU was elected Miss Swarnim, and Bhowmik Meena of Jaipur SIFD was elected Mr. Swarnim.
Maya Kumbhat, Dr. Vijayalakshmi Chauhan, Rajshree Gandhi Verma, Ruchi Soni, Meenu Kumbhat, Rekha Rani Jain, Dr. Seema Parikh, Bhavna Kavadia, Jyotsna Minda, Bela Caravan, Dr. Kalpana Sharma, Neeta Pawar, Bhavya Garg, Neha Paliwal, Dr. Reena Rathod, Archana Shaktawat, Dr. Anju Giri, Kumud Gehlot, Jyotsna Jain, etc. were present.
