Amazing performance of Kathak by Monisha Nayak

Udaipur: Eminent Kathak artist Monisha Nayak gave mesmerizing performances under the auspices of SOIC MACAY at Maharana Mewar PublicSchool.Intheprogram, Shri Mohammad Nazim gave a c co m pa n i m e n t o n Harmonium and Tabla, and Priyanka Kumari recited. School Principal Sanjay Dutta welcomed all the artists with wreaths and flowers. Monisha started theSurya Stuti,Utthan,Amad,andParan presentation in pure Kathak, followedbyKrishnaThumriand Bhramari, and concluded the program.Describingthebeginning of dance from Natya Shastraintroducedtheancient civilization of hand posture and dance. The program was conductedbystudentsSalmaAfrin Hussain and Yashi Jain, convened by Garima Joshi, Head of Music Department and Premshankar.
