Consumers should take a pledge to become aware of their rights
On the occasion of World Consumer Week by the Department of Resource Management and Consumer Sciences of the College of Community and Applied Sciences, a grand rally on consumer awareness was organized by the college students on the campus of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology. A discussion was held under the chairmanship of Narendra Singh Rathore, VC. Inaugurating the debate, Dr. Meenu Srivastava welcomed all the guests and informed the students about World Consumer Day. After that the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Dr. Narendra Singh Rathore said that we all as a consumer should take a pledge to become aware of the rights and responsibilities. Ms. Seema Dwivedi, Head of Department, Department of Resource Management and Consumer Sciences and Organizing Secretary explained the importance of the Consumer Protection Act-2019 while moving the program forward.
