Udaipur: The passion of football lovers and spectators was once again on the rise in the Zawar Football Academy located at Zawar Mines, which is not only famous for football inUdaipur but also in the country and the state.The occasion was the friendly match played between the executive and non-executiveteamsonthelast day of the Zawar Football League, in which Arun Mishra, CEO of Hindustan Zinc and Ajay Kumar Singroha, CHRo, while playing for the executive team, won the hearts of the spectators and sports lovers. Arun Mishra played from the left wing and CHRO from the right-wing displayed his excellent game.Perfect harmony and enthusiasm were displayed by both the players in passing the football and scoring goals with the other players. The friendly match was a tough match in which it was difficult to guess the victory and defeat till the last minute. In the tough competition, the non-executive team was the winner. Six men's and two women's teams from units of Hindustan Zincparticipatedinthe5-dayZawarFootballLeague.Matches were played by 6 teams of men in 2 groups by round-robin system. Bellaria Zinc Blasters in the men's team and Lead Panthers in the women's team won the league. The semifinal and final matches were played between the winningteamsandrunner-upsofboththegroups intheleague matches. The match was played between 2 women's teams. Among the 6 men's teams, Mochia United, Javarmala Team Bose, Ballaria Zinc Blasters, Baroi Riders, Surface Strikers, and Mill Phoenix FC, the final match was played between Mill Phoenix FC and Ballaria Zinc Blasters. In a tight match, Ballaria Zinc Blasters won the league championship with a 1-0 win. Himanshu Parihar scored the goal for the winning team. Man of the Series was Neil Madhav who scored 12 goals in 4 matches. In thewomen's team match between the Energetic Enablers and the Led Panthers, Shalini's goal resulted in the Led Panthers winning 1-0. In a friendly match played between executives and non-executives, the non-executive team won 1-0
