Deepak Sopori, the location head of Chanderia Lead Zinc Smelter, the program's special guest, said that we would be able to protect the environment only if we established chains of an intensive plantation. Sopori said that a plan had been made to increase the density of trees on the campus to plant a total of 100000 trees in different phases.
On World Environment Day, Senior Manager - Environment Tarun Meghwal said that we have a target of planting 40000 saplings this year, under which 8000 saplings were planted on Environment Day today. The target of one lakh will be completed in two years, out of which 40000 is to be completed in the first year. On this occasion, Kamod Singh, Deep Agarwal, Amit Surana, Chandi Prasad, Aditya Singh, KR Anoop, Anagat Ashish, and other officers and business partners planted trees. The environment department and other officials contributed significantly to the program and tree plantation.
