Udaipur: After completing their challenging cycling and trekking campaign, the team of the Battle Axe Division was greeted with the hoisting of the green flag at the Eklingsar Military Station in Udaipur. This ceremony marked the successful culmination of a remarkable journey spanning 658 kilometers from the rugged terrain of the Aravalli hills in the Mewar region. The trek included 500 kilometers of cycling and over 150 kilometers of trekking over a period of 12 days. The flagging-in ceremony was a moment of pride and achievement for the team that participated in this arduous campaign. It was a testament to their unwavering determination, physical endurance, and team spirit.
This campaign provided an exemplary opportunity for the team to connect with stalwarts and brave women residing in the remote villages of Rajasthan, revitalizing friendship and camaraderie. The team also interacted with the youth, inspiring them to join the Indian Army and serve the nation.
This initiative reaffirmed the Indian Army's steadfast commitment to the welfare of our community. Additionally, it echoed the ethos of "Young India - Fit India," emphasizing the importance of a healthy lifestyle and adventurous spirit.
