6-Day Women Entrepreneurship Development Program Organized

A one-week Women Entrepreneurship Development Workshop sponsored by the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) is being conducted from August 22 to August 28 under the guidance of the Atal Bihari Center for Entrepreneurship and Small Business and Skill Development Center, Department of Management Studies. The inauguration event for the workshop was held today. The event was graced by Dr. Neeta Mehta, President of the Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as the chief guest, and Mr. Kaustubh Bhattacharya, former Operating Officer of Commerce and Industry, as the Guest of Honor.
At the commencement of the program, Professor Meera Mathur, Director and Chairperson of the Department of Management Studies, extended a warm welcome to the guests and introduced the workshop. She highlighted that the workshop encompasses all crucial aspects of women's entrepreneurial development, such as creating business plans during challenging times, tackling personal finance challenges, and addressing challenges unique to women entrepreneurs.
Dr. Neeta Mehta shed light on women's contributions to entrepreneurship and emphasized that achieving the dream of a 5 trillion economy will be challenging. She urged women to actively participate in entrepreneurial activities to contribute to this vision.
Mr. Kaustubh Bhattacharya highlighted the importance of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) and motivated students to elevate their businesses to an international level.
Expressing gratitude to the guests, Professor Hanuman Prasad, Director of the program, stated that this program has been consistently organized over the past three years and will continue in the coming years. He encouraged students to progress alongside the "Smiling FMCGs" (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods).
The program was coordinated by Dr. Neha Nagauri and saw the presence of more than 150 students, including Dr. Sonu Nagori, Dr. Puja Devija, Dr. Jyoti Suhalka, Dr. Swati Bandi, and Rano Nagauri.
