Udaipur. A grand civic felicitation ceremony was organized in the Sagwara town of Dungarpur district. Udaipur District Collector Tarachand Meena was honored with the Chief Minister's Excellence Award by the state government.
State Water Resources Minister Mahendrajit Singh Malviya, TAD Minister Arjun Singh Bamnia, senior social worker Dinesh Khodania, former Minister of State Asrar Ahmed, Kherwara MLA Dayaram Parmar, Pratapgarh MLA Ramlal Meena, MLA Nagraj Meena, former MLAs Lalshankar Ghatia and Shankarlal Ahari, Tribal Commission member Pannalal were p[resent In the felicitation ceremony organized in the presence of Sagwada Municipal President Narendra Khodania and many distinguished people, the guests complimented Collector Meena by garlanding her with a shawl and giving her a congratulatory letter.
Udaipur District Collector Tarachand Meena said that one gets respect for doing good work, and the self-satisfaction that one gets by working in this tribal area is more important than respect. He said that the collector is the face of the government, and we have done the work of taking the public welfare schemes of the government to the common people. Collector Meena said that he has lived up to it whenever Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has trusted him. He said that Udaipur is a city of social harmony, and he has worked with full sensitivity on developing the whole society while focusing on the remote backward areas of the district. He has given relief through the welfare development schemes of the state government.
Municipal President Narendra Khodania, while giving a welcome address, presented the hallmark of the remarkable work done by Collector Meena and said that the entire Vagad is proud of the congratulation of such a tribal officer.
In his address, Cabinet Minister Mahendrajit Singh Malviya said that Collector Tarachand Meena had proved the thinking of all-round development in the tribal area as per the state government's intentions. He noted that social service could be improved, even through administrative service; Meena has told this.

TAD Minister Arjun Bamania said that passing the examination of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is a big thing. Collector Tarachand Meena was sent to Udaipur with confidence, and he has done every task given by the Chief Minister in a better way, so he has got respect. The credit goes to Collector Tarachand Meena for organizing Tribal Fair in the Kotra area. MLA Nagraj Meena said that tribal could also become collectors and do better work.
