Udaipur, Vedanta Group, and Hindustan Zinc, the country's largest and only integrated producer of Zinc, Lead, and Silver, celebrated the Blood Donation Amrit Mahotsav by organizing a blood donation camp at Central Hospital, Zinc Smelter Debari. The camp was organized with the Indian Red Cross Society, District Branch Udaipur. Employees of the company came in large numbers to donate blood. A total of 50 units of blood were donated by Hindustan Zinc's employees and business partners.
Hindustan Zinc is giving continuous support to nation-building. The active participation of employees of Hindustan Zinc follows the core motto of giving back to society. In the blood donation campaign, blood donors were rewarded through certificates and made aware of the community. This campaign will help create a database to contact the donors in an emergency.
