Udaipur: Deputy Conservator of Forest Wildlife Udaipur Dr. Ajit Uchoi informed that World Environment Day was celebrated by WWF-India Udaipur Division Office and Forest Department Wildlife Udaipur in Bird Park, under which Wild Wisdom Quiz for students and city dwellers in different categories like the spot painting competition, eco-trail, tree plantation, cleanliness drive, seminar, etc. were organized.
Chief Guest of the program Chief Conservator of Forest Wildlife RK. Khera and the keynote speaker was Professor Meera Mathur.
Arun Soni, WWF India's Udaipur Divisional Officer-in-Charge, said that the program was conducted by Dr. Ajit Uchoi and WWF India volunteer Kanishka Mehta. Various students in painting competitions in the program
Pushpa Khmesra and Preity Murdia evaluated various types of painting competitions. Purnesh Singh, Parish Jain, Nayan Jain, Angel Jain, Paridhi Rawal, Linisha Patel, Chahana Jain, Abhishek Patwa, and Amrita Singh were the winners of the quiz competition Auvyansh Jain, Salma, Kavya Jain, Jaidev Singh, Yogesh Kotia, Resham Tejoyat were the winners. All the winners of the photo walk organized on Biodiversity Day were also awarded on World Environment Day to Deepal Kalra, Dr. Trisha Singh, Rohit Dwivedi in the senior category, and Neha Sharma, Niramay Upadhyay, and Jaidev Singh in the student category. The Eco Trail program was completed under the guidance of Sharad Agarwal. WWF volunteers Aditya, Dilraj Meena, Akash, Yashwant, etc., contributed to the completion of the program. Environment lovers like Vinay Dave, Devendra Mistry, Devendra Shrimali, Shafiq Ahmed, etc., were present.
