Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot visits MB Hospital Udaipur

Udaipur.: Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot was on Udaipur-Dungarpur Yatra. During this, he inspected the super specialty block of Maharana Bhupal Hospital in Udaipurandinquiredaboutthe well-being of the patients and injuredbeingtreatedintheICU located on the fourth floor there. First of all, the Chief Minister recently met the injured in the road accident nearNandeshwar JionJhadol Road and got to know about their health; while talking to them, they inquired about the medical facilities and services being provided to these patients and their families and assured the injured that they would get well soon. Taking information about the situation from the hospital management, RNT Principal Dr. Lakhan Poswal was instructedtoprovidenecessary medical facilities to the injured along with proper treatment. ChiefMinisterGehlotdirected the District Collector to immediatelyprovidetheassistance given by the State Government to the dead and injured in connection with this road accident. ChiefMinisterAshokGehlot saidthatthestategovernment is serious about preventing roadaccidents inthestate,and effectiveeffortsarebeingmade in this direction.Every year 10 thousand people inRajasthan are victims of road accidents. TheChiefMinister saidthatthe roadshavebecomeverygood in the state, modern and highspeed vehicles have come; people drive very fast. Hence the number of accidents has increased.Peopleshoulddrive carefully. It is also the responsibility of the media and voluntary organizations to create awareness among the public so that accidents can be reduced. During the visit to the SSB block, the Chief Minister enquired about the health services being provided here by theRNTprincipal,includingthe hospital in charge and other heads of departments, and said that every facility of the government should reach the poor and needy person. It is the responsibility of all of you doctors to make every effort for human service and strengthen health services. Dr. Poswal apprised the Chief Minister about the stateof-the-art facilities and innovations available at the hospital. He said that as per the instructions of the state government, now no fee is being charged to any patient coming here. Feedback is takenonChief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme: During this visit, Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot discussed with the RNT principal the progress of the scheme so far with the effective implementation of the Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi HealthInsuranceScheme.He said that every section of the person should get the benefit of this scheme, and effective efforts will have to be made for it to be healthy and pray. The Chief Minister said that now the amount of the scheme has beenincreasedfromRs5lakh toRs10lakh,itshouldbegiven wide publicity, and more and more people should get the benefit of it; only then our resolve healthy Rajasthan will be fulfilled.
