U.C.C.I. signed MoU with Police Department

Udaipur. A bilateral MoU was signed between the Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Police Department. The MoU was signed by Superintendent of Police, Udaipur, Dr. Rajiv Pachar and U.C.C.I. President Mr. Komal Kothari. On this occasion, the Honorary Secretary General of U.C.C.I., Dr. Anshu Kothari, was also present.

Honorary General Secretary Dr. Anshu Kothari said that the second wave of the corona epidemic had spread rapidly in the Udaipur division. Oxygen concentrator machines are helpful in the treatment of corona-infected patients, considering the severe lack of oxygen because they can be easily used to make oxygen available to patients.

Chairman Shri Komal Kothari informed that U.C.C.I. received A request from aSP Udaipur and Additional Superintendent of Police Shri Gopal Swarup Mewada to provide oxygen concentrator machines in the covid-19 Hospital being set up in the Police Lines.

In this context, the U.C.C.I. believes that these machines are beneficial in treating Corona-infected patients in government hospitals. This step is desirable for the policemen considering the number of patients. On this basis, U.C.C.I. accepted the request of the Police Department to supply these machines with the capacity of 5 liters per minute in collaboration with its member organizations.

U.C.C.I. has made available oxygen concentrator machines for government hospitals and rural health centers, which are being used to treat patients.

The U.C.C.I. will maintain these machines under the MoU. If a device does not work, the hospital will return it to U.C.C.I., and U.C.C.I. will repair the appliance and provide it back to the hospital. This will ensure that all machines are in the working condition used for patients.
