Udaipur. A celebration ceremony was held at the Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, first with Maharana Pratap Airport. Out of 57 airports in the country on 33 various parameters, Udaipur Airport has the best airport status.
At the outset of the ceremony, UCCI's mentor, Mr. Arvind Singhal, said that UCCI had endeavored to honor institutions that perform well and encourage them to do good.
Chairman Mr. Komal Kothari said in his welcome speech that UCCI is celebrating excellence and achieving the first position out of 57 airports by scoring 4.84 out of total five marks on 33 parameters is a remarkable achievement of the Udaipur Airport team. With teamwork, Udaipur Airport has achieved this position in the last eight months only by the efficient leadership and management of the team's leader, Airport Director, Mrs. Nandita Bhatt.
Mrs. Nandita Bhat gave credit for this success, considering the coordination of her team and each member's partnership as the most important. She informed me that international cargo services are coming from Udaipur soon. Many other possibilities are also being added to the airport services for which interested people can get details by contacting their department. The effort of Mrs. Nandita Bhatt to declare Maharana Pratap Airport as an International Airport on the initiative of UCCI is commendable, and even today, many international flights can be operated with some minor changes. Cooperation from the state government is also required in this.
Members of the Udaipur Airport team who achieved this feat shared their experiences. CISF Deputy Commandant Mr. Atul Bhanotra and Assistant Commandant Mr. Vipul Saini, Terminal Manager Mrs. Bhavana Suthar and Mr. Siddharth Narula, Mrs. Sneh Sharma and Mrs. Charu Sharma from Air India, Mr. Devesh Goud from Indigo and Mr. T.A. Dak, Mr. Vijay from Spice Jet, Mr. Vijay Parmar and Mr. Amit Ramani from Vistara, Mr. Navneet Singh from Indo-Thai, Mr. Marcus from Airport Authority of India, Mr. Vinod Patidar, etc. expressed their views. Deputy Director, Tourism Department, Mrs. Shikha Saxena, said in her address that the Udaipur division has vast potential for heritage tourism, and the tourism department is ready to work with UCCI and all the participants on tourism development plans.
During the ceremony, Airport Manager Mrs. Nandita Bhatt, CISF Deputy Commandant Mr. Atul Bhanotra, Deputy Director, Tourism Department, Mrs. Shikha Saxena, were honored memento.
During the group photo with Cake Ceremony and the entire airport team, Mrs. Nandita Bhatt said that she is overwhelmed by receiving this honor and will make every effort to maintain these standards of excellence.
In this function, Deputy General Manager of State Bank of India, Mr. D.P.S. Tomar was the distinguished guest, and Assistant General Manager Mr. Ajay Kumar Jha was present. UCCI Vice President, Executive Member, Eminent Industrialist, and specially invited prominent citizens attended the function.
