In this series of live zoom webinars by the Bar Association, Udaipur for its member of colleagues and law students, a webinar on the topic * Difference in Justice and Juvenile Justice * was organized. Additional District and Sessions Judge No. 2 Mahendra Dave, who is one of the top skilled trainers of the country authority on the subject of Juvenile Justice Act and has written several books on this subject, while addressing this seminar, various provisions of difference injustice and juvenile justice Apprised and calmed the curiosities of the advocates.

Bar Association president Manish Sharma said that due to the lockdown, the purpose of maintaining knowledge of regular law of advocates who are deprived of judicial functions and following the advice of the government by staying in their homes and enlightening the youngsters to the law. Web seminars are being organized continuously by various subject matter experts.

Through this webinar, Judge Mahendra Dave, who wrote the first book on crimes against children and sexual offenses against children, the various legal provisions provided in the Juvenile Justice Act, 2012, and the crimes against minor children and girls. Assumption and family status of children, domestic and family disputes threw light on the background of economic social and moral conflicts.

Judge Dave elaborated the various provisions given in the context of the changes made in this Act after the Nirbhaya massacre from the Juvenile Justice Act 2005, 2012, and the treatment of minor children, etc. and demonstrated for the best of each Juvenile Justice Act The section was explained in detail. Dave stated that the Juvenile Justice Act of 2012 had been divided into two parts. The first part includes minor children who need special care and protection after having no parents or having one of the two. Which is diagnosed through the Child Welfare Committee and, at the same time, elaborated on various provisions of justice of the children who are struggling with the minor law which are involved in multiple criminal cases? Dave said that if there is conflict and every child has the right to get a lawyer as a friend of justice and it is essential to keep his best interests in mind before reaching any type of hearing in the Charanay Court.

Dave said that while considering cases of minor children, it is a priority to see their best interests, whereas in the case of minors it is not necessary that there is a provision to reduce the sentence by the trial court by looking at their conduct after sentencing the minors, but In the case of adults, this provision is given to the Appellate Authority. Similarly, in the provisions of the juvenile children struggling with law, if no bail is found in the requirements of the Juvenile Justice Act, there is a provision to release them on self-bond.

During the seminar, Justice Mahendra Dave advocated the difference between justice and juvenile justice. In addition to the Juvenile Justice Act, the use of the term in various acts or in light of the reasons for not being mentioned in the court and the laws made concerning minor children, their provision concept. And he explained in detail with the principle also.

Additional Judge Mahendra Dave also referred to the relief given to the children given their best interests in various decisions passed by the Supreme Court and various High Courts in favor of children.

During this, he communicated in the open session of the advocates and answered various questions. Advocate BM Kumawat questioned the framing of new laws in the mental rape of children, to which Judge Dave responded well. He said that every section in the society needs to think that the child's mind is very fickle and soft, in such a way, they should be connected to the mainstream of society by providing education in a child-friendly environment.

During the seminar, Dr. Shailendra Pandya, Member, Child Protection Commission, expressed his intention to link legal experts working for children with the Commission and proposed a workshop in Udaipur in collaboration in rainy session
