Udaipur :  In a grand ceremony held yesterday, the medal winners of the All India 17th Independent Cup 2023 International Karate Championship in New Delhi's Talkatora Stadium and the 8th Abu Challenge Cup were felicitated and honored for their outstanding achievements in martial arts.

Sanju Singh, the esteemed Technical Director of Rajasthan in Security Martial Arts and X, presided over the ceremony and personally awarded the dedicated karatekas. The event was marked by a spirit of celebration and recognition for their remarkable feats.
Among the standout performers, Kamlesh Sen emerged as a shining star, securing both a silver and bronze medal in the senior men's category, showcasing his exceptional talent and commitment to the sport.
Rajkumar Sen, another prodigious talent, seized the spotlight by clinching a remarkable haul of 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and a bronze medal. His consistent excellence in various events left the audience in awe.
Parth Ved, too, made his presence felt with a silver medal and a bronze medal, demonstrating his prowess on the mat, while Prince Singh displayed remarkable resilience, earning 2 well-deserved bronze medals.
In the credit competition, the men's category witnessed Aditya Singh's stellar performance, as he triumphed with 2 bronze medals, showcasing his tenacity and determination.
Anshumala Bansal, not to be outdone, secured a silver medal in her division, while Nishita Kothari displayed her mastery by clinching a gold medal and a silver medal in the girls' category, setting a benchmark for excellence.
The sub-junior girls' category was illuminated by Samishta Gehlot, who achieved an astonishing feat by claiming 2 gold medals, a silver medal, and a bronze medal, solidifying her status as a rising star in the world of karate.
Awadhi Porwal's impressive performance earned her a gold medal, a silver medal, and a bronze medal, while Nimisha Kumawat and Lakshita Bhoi added to the glory with their well-earned bronze medals.
In the men's category, Manan Patel demonstrated his mettle by securing 3 silver medals and a bronze medal, showcasing his remarkable consistency and skill.
Other notable contributors to the team's success included Deep Singh, Parmdev Singh, Akshat Somani, Medhansh Jain, Akhilesh Sharma, and Nikhil Gameti, each of whom earned their share of silver and bronze medals.
