Rockwood beat Wonder Cricket Academy by four wickets in a match that lasted until the last.

IPL-like thrill shown at Field Club

Udaipur. Sports lovers see an IPL-like thrill in the T-20 cricket competition organized by PIMS  Mewar Club Cricket at the city's Field Club ground. Two matches were played in the round on Monday. During this, while the sports lovers enjoyed the rain of sixes and fours coming out of the bats of IPL and Ranji players, on the other hand, they wanted the matches which lasted till the last over. During the matches, the audience's curiosity also remained towards the lucky draw of the organizing committee.
Organizers Bilal Akhtar and Harshit Dhaybhai said that in the first match played on Monday, Mewar Tourism Club defeated Titan Club by 10 runs in a match drawn till the last over. Titan's star player Shivam Chowdhary, who played for Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL, could not win the team even a quick century. As soon as Shivam was dismissed, other players could not collect the required runs for victory. Mewar Tourism Club scored 210 runs thanks to Nishant Kushwaha's 63 in 42 balls, Aftabuddin's innings adorned with two sixes and four fours. Ashok Sharma, Captain Yash Kothari and Jai Bisht of Mewar Tourism took two wickets each. 
In response, Titan Club could score only 200 runs losing all the wickets till the stipulated over. Ashok Singh, Yaduraj Singh and Captain Aman Rawat of Mewar Tourism took two wickets each. Shivam Chowdhary was declared man of the match.
Organizer and Ranji player Chandrapal Singh said that in the second match played later in the afternoon; Rockwood defeated Wonder Cricket Academy by four wickets in the last over.
 At one stage it seemed that the Wonder bowlers would easily win the match, but Ani's 44 not out helped Rockwood defeat the Wonders. 
Earlier, Wonder batting first scored 168 runs in 20 overs, in which Karan Singh contributed 78 runs off 42 balls with the help of 7 fours. After the early dismissal of Ranji player Rajat Chhaparwal, there was a long partnership between Anirudh Singh and Karan Singh. Due to this, Wonder was able to post a respectable score. Lokesh of Rockwood took 4 wickets, Sachin Hooda and Jasvir Sherawat took 2-2 wickets.
 In response, both Rockwood openers Manoj Choma and Akash Gehlot added 41 runs for the first wicket. The second wicket also fell on this score. After this, Rahul Tomar and Ani handled the innings and took their team to the threshold of victory. Hitesh Patel and Ritik Chordia of Wonder took two wickets each, Lokesh of Rockwood was adjudged man of the match.
 Naman Agarwal of PIMS was present on the ground during the matches and kept encouraging the players. Shivam and Lokesh, the man of both matches, were awarded by District Sports Officer Shakeel Hussain, etc.
