Sriganganagar( Hritu sodi):  Dm Shri Mahavir Prasad Verma is determined to make the city beautiful and progressive in many ways. In his supervision SriGanganagar District stood first in many schemes run by the government of Rajasthan.
The PMO of the Department of Medicine and Health, Dr. KS Kamara informed that in “Kayakalp yojna “the department achieved 96.1 percent marks, and secured 350 points, the first place in Rajasthan.  
He said that Shrikaranpur CHC has achieved first position in the entire state in this scheme.  Similarly, the Medical and Health Department has secured second position in the Sick New Born Unit.  The PMO said that the state has cleared the National Quality Assurance Scheme and 3 CHCs in NQAS have been ranked first in the state so far.
 CMHO Dr. Girdhari Lal Meharda informed that all preparations related to Covid-19 in the District are complete and oxygen cylinders, beds, ventilators, medicines are all available in abundance.  He said that life-saving drugs Remidicivir, Tusalazumab are available in sufficient quantity, so far 1843 Remidicivir injections were made available in the District, out of which 1433 have been injected and 410 are available.  CMHO said that there are 162 active cases in the district and all are being treated properly.
The CMHO gave full credit to the DM Shri Varma who guided the whole team to achieve this goal. 
Sriganganagar stood first in jal jeevan mission , Aadhar seeding and Swachhta mission and stood second in Agro processing unit. Sriganganaganagr has achieved hundred percent target in opening English medium schools in the District. 3553 students have taken admissions in eight English medium schools run by the Government.
Dm Mahavir Prasad Verma took interest in all these programs himself and motivated departmental heads to achieve the targets.
District Collector Shri Mahavir Prasad Verma contacted the beneficiaries under the Social Security Pension Scheme and Palanhar Scheme run by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Sriganganagar.  He went to the residence of the beneficiaries to get information on the status and object of the scheme and to get ideas about the implementation of the scheme and the scheme of the beneficiaries.
The District Collector said that the social pension scheme and Palanhar scheme being run by the state government is helping to raise the educational level of children in themselves and their families and by these schemes a boon in raising the standard of living of these sections in the society has been proven.
Shri Varma gives time to common people and tries to solve their problems in single visit. The doors of his office are open for all.
