India’s Top Ten named Next- Gen Librarian Dr. Deepak K. Shrivastava Divisional librarian Government Divisional Public library Kota conferred by “FHSLA: Librarian of the Year Award-2021” by Federation of Health Science Library Association India at 3rd FHSLA National Conference on Harnessing the Digital Space: " One Nation, One Subscription" Initiative and Medical Librarians Perspective held at AIIMS, Rishikesh on  25-26 November 2022.
This Award is given to Dr. Shrivastava by Honorable Health, Education and Co-Operative Minister Respected Shri Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat Government of Uttarakhand (UK), Dr Meenu Singh Executive Director AIIMS Rishikesh,  Central Government officials Dr B.Shrinivas, ADG(ME), Government of India & Director, National Medical Library  and Ms. Ramya Haridasan, Scientist, Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor etc.
Dr. P.R. Meena Country Head FHSLA said that Youth Sensation Dr Shrivastava is honored to demonstrated extraordinary Public Library leadership and service within the library community over the past 12 – 18 months. I hope this award will be inspired to others public library leaders, librarian’s and activist too.
During the early months of the pandemic, Dr Deepak – a longtime digital expert whose buoyant creativity is matched by his strong technical skills – launched into action to help remote readers across from more than 15 Countries i.e. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Iran, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Uganda and UK. Through the use of WhatsApp Initiative Knowledge@yourdoorstep/doorsteps,educational apps, websites, gaming, ambassadorships, badging, and other tools he was able to take her library 100 percent digital very quickly, to benefit her readers as they learned at home.
It’s worth mentioning that Future ready librarian Dr. Deepak Shrivastava recently named in IFLA WALL of FAME, Top 75 Library Professionals of The Nation, Top Ten Next-Generation librarian of the India.
