Ladies Circle has donated Rs 3.50 lakh to the handicapped

Jaipur. A Dubai-based organisation, Ladies Circle has donated Rs 3.50 lakh to the makers of the world-famous  Jaipur Foot for the rehabilitation of the handicapped. The sum would be used to provide an artificial limb, Jaipur Foot to 70 persons.
The National President of Ladies Circle, Dubai, Deepti Mehta, National secretary Anjana Ananth and immediate past president, Shradha Jain visited the Jaipur Foot centre and presented the sum to the founder and chief patron of  BMVSS D R Mehta and the secretary, Bhupendra Raj Mehta.
Dubai's Ladies Circle, President Deepti Mehta said the sum was collected from individuals in Dubai for the rehabilitation of the poor disabled. She said the Ladies Circle would support the rehabilitation programme by donating the sum to the BMVSS every year.
The Jaipur Chapter of Ladies Circle members Anisha Mendiratta and Jyoti  Bawri also donated to the BMVSS.
D R Mehta said that the BMVSS has emerged as the leading organisation for the rehabilitation of the disabled and is heading towards achieving the figure of two million rehabilitation.The Jaipur Foot has its footprint in both India and in 35 other countries of the world.
