Udaipur: The Orthopedic Department of Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Udaipur, inaugurated a two-day workshop on Saturday to introduce a new technique for knee replacement surgery called cadaveric knee arthroplasty. Ashish Agrawal, Chairman of PIMS, stated that speakers and representatives from various states across the country are participating in the workshop, with 90 representatives registered.
Orthopedic surgeon Dr. B.L. Kumar explained that the workshop will focus on new techniques for knee replacement, robotic surgery, and artificial intelligence (AI). Specialists provided fundamental information on various techniques for knee replacement on Saturday. On Sunday, senior experts will conduct a live demonstration of cadaveric surgery, providing participants with an opportunity for hands-on learning during the workshop.
