Udaipur: A health talk was organized today at Aishwarya College, Udaipur, where Dr. Akanksha Tripathi, a specialist in women's health from Paras Hospitals, addressed students and provided information about cervical cancer. During the event, Dr. Tripathi enlightenedthestudentsaboutthe potential causes of cervical canceranditsprevention.Sheemphasized that cervical cancer is most prevalent among women in India due to a lack of awareness, leading to delayed treatment.Shestressedtheimportanceofbeingawareandinformed about the disease. Dr. Tripathi also mentioned that currently, cervical cancer can be prevented through HPV vaccination and modern screening methods. The vaccine is available for girls and women aged 9 to 26 years.
