Udaipur. Facility expansion work is being done continuously with state-of-the-art technology in Maharana Bhupal Hospital, located at Udaipur divisional headquarters. Under this, the facilities have been strengthened in the Children's Hospital recently by installing PICU Central Monitoring.
Children's Hospital Superintendent Dr.RL Suman said there is a separate building with 450 beds, a state-of-the-art nursery with 220 beds, PICU with 100 beds, etc. Every bed in the hospital is connected to oxygen, the central line is connected, and ventilator monitors are all already installed.
Recently PICU was made more state-of-the-art by installing central monitoring, under which central monitoring of 20 beds can be done continuously for 24 hours on top of two T.V.T.V. screens. This primary monitor works with WiFi, which makes the facility check the patient's vital parameters, especially oxygen saturation, heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure, and temperature, which will be convenient for patients admitted in critical condition.
Dr. Suman said that in this system, the oxygen saturation is recorded by Mansima's patented technology, which detects the saturation even in the patient's grief. The cost of this system is 1.8 crores.
