Another significant achievement has been achieved in the name of Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital, Udaipur. After evaluation, its blood bank has been certified by NABH (National Accreditation Board of Hospitals).
 NABH has put its stamp on superior quality; the logo and certificate of the blood center were unveiled at Geetanjali Hospital  jointly by Shri J.P. Aggarwal, Chairman, Geetanjali Group., Executive Director Mr. Ankit Agarwal, Vice Chancellor Dr. Narendra Mogra, Dean Dr. D.C. Kumawat, GMCH CEO Mr. Prateem Tamboli, Medical Superintendent Conl. Dr. Sunita Dashottar.
Geetanjali Group Chairman Shri J.P. Agarwal expressed his happiness and called it a significant achievement for the first NABH Accreditation Blood Bank of South Rajasthan.
Ankit Agarwal, Executive Director of Geetanjali Group, said that this blood bank is completely hi-tech and safe. It is a fully automated machine and is being operated. There is a facility of bar code which eliminates the possibility of human error.
CEO of GMCH, Mr. Prateem Tamboli, said that in blood transfusion, state-of-the-art machines of chemiluminescence are used to save the patient from diseases caused by the donor so that there is no risk to the patient from a blood transfusion.
Dr. Nisha Porwal and Reyank Gangawat from the Department of Quality and Recognition informed that NABH Accreditation Blood Center affects the quality and safety of collection of blood products, which is helpful in safe blood transfusion. Through this, safe blood will be available for all.
