Head Injury Awareness Day celebrated in the Paras J. K.  hospital

Udaipur. World Head Injury Awareness Day was celebrated in the Paras J. K.  hospital. Hospital director Vishwajit Kumar said that a workshop was organized for nursing workers to deal with emergency-like Troma during this time.

In the workshop, Neuro Surgeon Dr. Ajit Singh informed that last year more life loss due to corona had been caused by road accidents, which tells Troma's horrors. The patient should be admitted to the Multispeciality Hospital within an hour after having a trauma on the road. During this time, the patient should take care not to move too much. Besides, the patient should be brought directly on the plane surface by lying on it. If there is blood coming from somewhere, it should be cleaned with a clean cloth and damned.

Neurosurgeon Dr. Amitendu Shekhar said that trauma could be avoided only by taking precautions. Traffic rules should be followed to avoid trauma occurring in road accidents. Lighting should be good in homes, anti-slip mats and shoes, slippers, etc., should be of good quality to protect the elderly from the house, park, or the surrounding stroma. This will prevent trauma from occurring at home. Sometimes an internal injury to the head shows everything right from the outside, but later the injury shows the effect. Symptoms such as fainting, bleeding, vomiting, bleeding from nose and ears, poor hearing, low heartbeat, excess, seizures after the injury are seen. In such a situation, there is a risk of paralysis or coma. In such a situation, the patient should be taken to the nearest hospital immediately. During the workshop, pre-treated Troma patients were honored by providing mementos.
