Hearing Ability Safety for All on the subject ENT HOD Dr. JS Matha said that the baby starts listening from birth, but it takes time to learn to speak. Many parents find that the baby's hearing loss is weak after a long time. Timely detection will help to overcome the weakness of hearing capacity. Dr. Kanishka Mehta of ENT said that GBH General Hospital has a hearing aid machine and audiologist for newborns. In such a situation, there is a need to make parents aware and get newborns screened. The hearing ability of infants born at GBH General Hospital is being screened only after birth.
