Udaipur, The ongoing celebration of performing arts in Begusarai, Bihar, by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi, features artists honored with the 2021 National Awards from the Sangeet Natak Akademi. On Friday, Udaipur's Martand Foundation artists, under the direction of Vilas Janve, delivered a splendid performance. The performance included Kiran Janve, Bhavna Sharma, ChaizaJanve, Sudarshan Rao, and Manish Sharma, with musical direction by Samarth Janve. The performance included six mime acts from Rabindranath Tagore's Nobel Prize-winning work "Geetanjali."
Kiran Janve and Vilas Janve brought classic mime acts based on "Mere Bachche" and "Kripaan" to life with their exceptional performances. Additionally, the audience was entertained and enlightened with thought-provoking mime acts such as "Musibat Bhara Madhuchandra" and "Kursi Banam Kursi." The performances "Paani Paani Paani" and "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" not only entertained but also conveyed empowering messages to the audience.
Vilas Janve, the playwright and director of the mime acts, along with the musical direction by Samarth Janve, contributed to the success of the mime performances.
