Udaipur: Among the 1600 Inner Wheel Clubs across the country, the Inner Wheel Club Udaipur made history today by creating a world record at the Rockwood School campus in Chitrakootnagar with 3,000 kilos of grains. The club crafted a 20 times 22 feet flex featuring the Inner Wheel Club logo and a Rakhi (a traditional decorative thread) using a wheel and grains, setting a new world record. The world record team from Ahmedabad handed out certificates personally to 40 members who contributed to the record.
Speaking at the event, Club President Dr. Sweety Chhabda stated that this year the club will undertake various initiatives for the needy, particularly women. This record achievement is a part of these efforts. The club will also provide self-grooming training to women, enabling them to attain employment.
Event Chairman Sheela Talesara provided a detailed insight into the organization of the event. She mentioned that the initiative began with four members, and as the news spread, more members joined, ensuring the participation of 40 members in this event.
The creation included a 20 times 22 feet flex featuring the Inner Wheel logo and both sides were adorned with a 7-7 feet Rakhi made from 7 types of grains: wheat, rice, black chickpea, corn, pearl millet, mung lentils, and mung. The 3000 kilos of grains will later be distributed to 1000 needy families.
The chief guest from Jaipur, Inner Wheel District Chairman Nisha Khndapur, highlighted that this achievement by Inner Wheel Club Udaipur holds special significance among the 27 Inner Wheel districts and 1600 clubs in the country. It showcases the power of women.

Pawan Solanki, the leader of the world record team from Ahmedabad, expressed enthusiasm for the event when the Inner Wheel Club approached them for collaboration.
