Northern Railway won the All India Railway Cricket Women's Championship

Shri Ganga Nagar. Shri Shobhan Choudhury, General Manager, Northern Railway, felicitated the winning players of the 33rd All India Railway Cricket Women's Championship team at Baroda House, New Delhi.
  Recently, the 33rd All India Railway Women Cricket Championship was organized by Patiala Locomotive Works Sports Association at PLW Cricket Stadium, Patiala, from 10th to 16th April. The women's cricket team of Northern Railway won this Championship.
  Total 8 teams from Zones/Units of Indian Railways participated in this Championship. Many eminent and international cricket personalities like former Indian captain Mithali Raj were in this Championship.
  The final match of this Championship was played between Northern Railway and North Central Railway. Playing first, North Central Railway scored 195 runs losing 9 wickets in 50 overs. Northern Railway crossed the target in 44.5 overs with the loss of 8 wickets to win the Championship.
  The General Manager of Northern Railway congratulated the women's cricket team and motivated them to achieve similar success in the future also.
