Rare and incurable Wilson's disease can be prevented with Unani medicine _Claims: Dr. Liaquat Ali Mansoori

Wilson's disease: Wilson's disease is when the amount of copper in the body increases significantly. It is a genetic disease. Due to Wilson's disease, copper gets deposited in the liver, brain, and other vital organs. In Wilson's disease, the liver absorbs copper from the digested food. Instead of excreting it as a product in the bile, it is put directly into the blood, due to which the copper, along with the blood, gets deposited in all the parts of the body and causes damage to the organs. Destroys the procedure.

  Symptom __
It is primarily delayed in identifying it, so the patient reaches a fatal condition. Later on, when the amount of copper in the body increases due to an increase in blood, problems related to the liver or nervous system start, then this disease is revealed in the tests, in which the following symptoms are seen.
Weakness causes the body to dry up and lose weight, feel tired, vomit or nauseous, lose appetite, itching on the body, jaundice or yellowing of the skin, swelling of the legs and abdomen, abdominal pain or swelling, and constipation. Spider angiomas, or branch-like blood vessels that appear on the skin, lead to muscle and joint spasms and pain due to excessive accumulation of copper, severe cramps in the extremities, and loss of voice. Are,
Saliva starts dripping from the mouth, etc. side effects start appearing. Such symptoms start appearing in the patient after 6 to 10 years, and most patients do not live beyond 30 years.

  Complications: __
The following complications arise from Wilson's disease. Still, at the same time, even after the completion of therapy, some side effects remain due to the causes of this disease, due to which the patient remains alive with many side effects.
(1) Liver failure – The functions of the liver gradually decrease and lead to acute liver failure. In this case, a liver transplant is required.
(2) Liver Cirrhosis – The scarring of the liver is called liver cirrhosis. Liver cells get damaged due to excess copper in the liver. When the liver tries to repair the damaged cells, it causes further damage and scarring. These scars reduce the functioning of the liver.
(3) Kidney problems – Kidney stones and high concentrations of amino acids in the urine are some of the abnormalities found in the kidney. These conditions worsen kidney function.
(4) Hemolysis – The amount of oxygen in the lungs decreases due to the destruction of red blood cells in the blood. Complications associated with hemolysis are jaundice and anemia.
(5) Neurological problems – Neurological problems are encountered, such as_ involuntary muscle movements, difficulty in speaking, and tremors.

Unani Medicine
Unani medicine acts as a chelating agent. There are no side effects from Unani medicines. If Unani treatment is done early, the patient's serum copper level starts returning to normal in three to four months. This way, Unani therapy can quickly eliminate this disease, and the patient can lead an everyday life. Unani medicines correct the functioning of the liver and make it run smoothly, and the decayed liver starts to heal. A serum copper test of the patient is done every month in which it is seen what the level of serum copper is. Serum copper level gradually comes back to normal with Unani medicines. Copper is excreted from the body as a white powder through tears and urine. Such patients can be seen on my youtube channel __"Neuro Point" whose serum copper labels have come back to normal and have become relatively routine. But when the patient is more serious, bringing him back to normal becomes difficult.

Occupational hijama therapy – Patients with neurological disorders are given occupational hijama therapy, which helps reduce nervous spasms, mood swings, and personality changes in the body.

Liver transplant by surgery__
A liver transplant is also an excellent way to save the patient if the liver damage is severe. During a liver transplant, a surgeon removes your diseased liver and replaces it with a healthy liver from a donor. Most transplanted livers come from donors who have died. But in some cases, the liver can also come from a living donor, such as a family member. In that case, the surgeon removes your diseased liver and replaces it with a part of a donor's liver. In this, the patient's treatment is done according to the patient's health condition
