Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur in collaboration with HR Success Talk inaugurated ‘KSHITIJ’ 2023– The HR Conclave, on 3rdFebruary 2023 at the LalitLaxmi Vilas Palace Udaipur. With the objective to strengthen industry- academia linkage and explore best business practices‘KSHITIJ’ 2023brought together business leaders, HR practitioners and academia across a wide range of industries to facilitate sharing of their experience and knowledge.
The Honourable Vice Chancellor and President of the University Prof. (Dr.) Padmakali Banerjee presided over the event.Delivering the welcome address, she accentuated the relevance of Inclusivity and sustainability in Industry 4.0 in line with SDG and lifelong learning in education. She highlighted the requisite ofdynamic work environments for building a sustainable workforce, engagements of individuals aligned to the vision and culture of their organization and the importance of governance in making workplaces a happy and healthier place.
Maharaj Kumar SahebLakshyaraj Singh JiMewarof Udaipur, the Chief Guest for ‘KSHITIJ’ 2023 graced the occasion with his presence and was honoured with the Award of Excellence in Sustainability in Business Practices for his outstanding contribution towards the society and the Nation at large.
The flagship event witnessed the presence of eminent corporate leaders and industry stalwartsacross the country from fortune 500 companies who deliberated on various trends in talent management practices. Business leaders from British council, Wipro, JK Cement, 3Pillar Global, HCL Technologies, HR Success Talk, People Strong, Boston Consulting Group (BCG),Ernst & Young, Bikano, Amazing Workplace, Hansa Solutions, Mphasis, Minfy Technologies Pvt. Ltd actively participated in the conclave. Round Table Discussion on Building Sustainability & Inclusivity into the heart of the business Practices and ESG (Environmental Social Governance) - The Core of Business Strategy were the prominent features of the event on Feb 3rd 2023.
On Feb 4, 2023 Panel discussion on ‘Journey from Campus to Corporate: Future Skills to be Employable Looking at Freshers from Corporate Lens’ was held at the University. The event took place simultaneously inthree different venues for the School of Engineering and Management. The first panel comprising ofMr. Ram Prasad, Chairman, Hansa Solutions Hansa Solutions, Ms Monika Marwah, HR Director, Blue Pi, MrGokulPandian, Director-Climate Change and Sustainability Service, EY, Mr. Kapil Kumar, British council, Mr. Rajneesh Tomar, Head-HR, Bikano interacted with the students and highlighted the in-house AI based training methods/programmes adopted by different companies and explicated the entrepreneurship concepts as well.
Mr. P.B. Kotour, Head Global Freshers Engagement Program, Wipro,Ms. EktaCapoor, Co- Founder, Amazing Workplace, Mr. AmitKataria CHRO, Minfy Technologies Pvt. Ltd and Mr. Khalid Raja, Associate Vice President Human Resources, People Strong were the panelists for the second panel. Sharing the anecdotes from their lives they emphasized the importance of mannerism, collaboration and competency and the holistic development through various skills as an essential component for employability.
The third panel comprising ofMr. Govind Singh Negi, Global Head of Talent-Europe and India, 3Pillar, Mr. Joshua David M.D, India Campus Lead, Mphasis, Mr. Uma Sankar, CEO, Hansa Solutions, Ms. GarimaBatra, Managing Director and Partner, Boston Consulting Groupurged the students to stay updated with the industry trends and develop the skill set of right attitude, team work, passion and flexibility to face the future work challenges.
The Deans, Head of the Departments, Faculty members and the students of the University participated actively in the interactive sessions. To take ahead the comradeship a cricket match was also organised in the University. The grand event witnessed an engaging participation and ended on a promising note of amalgamating technology and management practices to create a legacy of success in the corporate world.
